Midwest’s EnviroKleen® Receives Certification from Bureau de normalisation du Québec

Canton, Ohio – August 15, 2013 – The BNQ* has issued its Certification that Midwest’s EnviroKleen®, a patented synthetic organic fluid with a binder, meets the BNQ’s standards 2410-300 Products Used as Dust Control Agents for Non-Asphalted Roads and Other Similar Surfaces.

A value of BNQ certification for buyers is that it is not a one-time recognition. The certificate is valid for 2 years. BNQ re-evaluates conformance to BNQ standards for critical contaminants, degradation, mobility, bio-concentration, aquatic toxicity, soil toxicity, and geno-toxicity each year.
While other kinds of dust suppressants – e.g., calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, ammonium lignosulfonate and base oil – also hold BNQ certification, EnviroKleen is the only one that is a Synthetic Organic Dust Control® product.
“BNQ environmental standards are among the most stringent, “said Midwest founder Bob Vitale, “but the certification is about environmental impact alone, not about performance. EnviroKleen meets BNQ’s demanding environmental standards while also delivering outstanding performance over the longest period of time because of the patented chemistry of its synthetic fluid molecular structure and its unique binder system”.
