The Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Awards have named Midwest as one of its 2018 Honorees, recognizing the outstanding growth of both our staff and revenue over the past five years.
We’re excited to announce that Midwest Industrial Supply, Inc. has been officially named a 2018 Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Award Honoree! Midwest is proud to be recognized as one of a select few businesses in the Northeastern Ohio region to have demonstrated outstanding growth either in revenue or in its employee base.
“Seeing such exciting growth in both our sales and our family of employees has been a reward unto itself,” says Midwest President Steven Vitale. “All the same, we’re deeply honored to receive this recognition from the Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Awards, and hope that our company will continue to see more of the amazing growth it has seen in the past five years.”
Highlighting Exceptional Business Growth
Presented by the Cascade Capital Corporation, the Business Growth Awards program celebrates businesses within the Ohio counties of Summit, Medina, Portage, Stark, Wayne, Holmes, and Ashland. A business can qualify for a Business Growth Award by either “increasing its sales level by 100% or $5 million, or by increasing its employee base by 50% or 25 people over the past five years,” according to Smart Business Magazine.
Midwest had the unique honor of meeting both of these criteria! Since 2010, Midwest has more than doubled its employee count from 55 to over 120 and counting, as well as boosted our annual revenue by 900% between 2010 and the 2017/18 fiscal year. Both of these achievements are partially due to major developments over the past few years, including our recent acquisition of local competitor SynTech Products Corporation.
An Outstanding Five Years
The dual milestones in employee and revenue growth we’ve achieved are the product of years of effort on the part of our growing staff. Moreover, our continued dedication to good employer practices and excellent leadership have made it possible for us to receive this and several other awards this year, and we want to thank every one of our employees for making this success possible.
